Tony Blair, former, British Prime Minister from May 1997 until June 2007
Controversial UK Prime Minister largely because of his subservient support of George W. Bush's patently ill-advised invasion of Iraq, also the humane rights infringements in Iraq, Afghanistan and further afield.
PS: Blair also known in Britain as Bush’s poodle. Finally Sir poodle!
Peace demonstration protesters theatrically visualise Tony Blair behind prison bars, many of the people think he should be put on trial at Nuremberg for war crimes. Demonstration titled Judgment Day For Blair, outside the QEII Conference Centre where former war Prime Minister Tony Blair is being questioned by the Iraq inquiry. The Inquiry Chairman is Sir John Chilcot. The demonstration is called by Stop the War Coalition (StWC). Westminster, London, UK, 29/01/2010
“Beginning wars is relatively easy; it’s ending them that’s hard. Innocent people die; unintended consequences develop; bad situations can be made worse. It is the uncertainty, the absence of clarity until hindsight delivers it – too late – that makes leadership difficult” Tony Blair from his autobiography A JOURNEY page 229
