John Rees, national officer of the Stop the War Coalition (StWC), speaking outside the Royal Courts of Justice in a break from the court proceedings. He talked about his impressions of the way the Julian Assange case for extradition to the US is being conducted in the first morning. He says this, the biggest Press Freedom case in living memory, is being held in one of the smallest courtrooms! This means that most observers have to see the procedures from a monitor in another room. The transmission is very poor quality and sound are inaudible so the press protest. It does not look good for transparent justice. John Rees also introduces the other expert speakers outside the Royal Court of Justice. Strand, London, UK 20 Feb 2024
