Parliament Surrounded. The Free Assange human chain is completely surrounding Parliament. Because the UK Parliament backs on to the River Thames, to surround it requires an extremely lengthy circle of people to be on a long road, across a park and cross two major bridges and a long Embankment foot pathway. But the issue is of such a magnitude the effort is taken. The issue is both the criminal injustice to an individual journalist publisher Julian Assange, but further by making true information, that is in the public interest, prohibited, democracy is destroyed with taking away the means by which the citizen needs to make informed choices in voting and holding their governments to account.
