Frigate Shtandart
Russian frigate Shtandart, docked in La Rochelle. This Russian frigate Shtandart replica launched 1999, is a remaking of the original Russia's Baltic fleets frigate made in 1703 by the decree of Tsar Peter I. The modern Shtandart is a training ship, and gives trips. The frigate is involved in tall ship maritime festivals and acts as goodwill Russian ambassador on its voyages.
