"Les Vikings" The Vikings are coming to a French village in Vendée, which is bravely defended. Love, courage, magic, miracles and many surprises shape this story which ends in peace and reconciliation. The show is performed at Puy du Fou. Puy du Fou is a French history theme park, with live performances that range from stories from Roman times, Viking invasions, Medieval period with Joan of Arc making an appearance, to the 1st World War, a bird show starring, falcons, owls and vultures, is stunning; and very much more, this is just what I managed to see in one day. The storytelling in these productions is highly skilful, acting good with stunning special effects, stage craft and techniques. The grand park was founded by Philippe de Villiers, who expresses a romantic, enchanting and extremely entertaining view of history. Viscount de Villiers has a love of history, legends especially of his part of France, Vendée, a department in the Pays-de-la-Loire region in west-central France, bordering the Atlantic Ocean.
