Statue of Fr Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort (1673 - 1716) sculpted by M. Renaud-Bizet of Luçon. The stone sculpture is set in Mervent forest on a rock above a cave, St Louis Marie's hermitage for a period. Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort preached, wrote songs and theological books on Mariology which were influential within their field. Mervent Forest, Vendee, France, 16/10/2016
