Duncan Fitzsimmons, designer holding, Morph Folding Wheel, for wheelchairs. The first foldable wheel, which has just started coming off the production line in the USA however the designers are based in London, England. For the first time a wheelchair can be folded small enough to go in an overhead locker on a plane, the boot of a small car, a wardrobe at home. designed by Vitamins, UK and manufactured by Maddak, Ink USA. Morph Folding Wheel, is exhibited at the, Designs Of The Year 2013 exhibition, until 7 July 2013, nominated in the transport category. Design Museum, Shad Thames, London, UK, 19th March 2013
