Chris Nineham

Chris Nineham, a national officer of Stop the War Coalition (StWC) , addresses a rally to Free Shaker Aamer, the last British resident who is still held illegally in Guantanamo after more than 8 years. The campaigners march from Nine Elms past the site of the future London US Embassy site, in Battersea, ironically in the very same borough of London where detainee Shaker Aamer is from and his family remain awaiting his return. Peace campaigner Chris Nineham was previously a musician and in 1985 a drummer in the indie pop band, The June Brides. London 11th December 2010
