Democracy Villagers

Former Democracy Villagers and friends sit on a structure just outside Parliament Square Gardens where they have been forcibly removed from in the early hours in the morning between 1am to 5pm by over fifty bailiffs who demolished Democracy Village, an improvised peace camp of tents and ejected the campaigners forcibly, many who have been living in Parliament Square Gardens since 1st of May. Parliament Square Gardens now has a covered fence surrounding it and is closed to the public. Some of the demonstrators have moved to this pavement area in front of the fence opposite Parliament to continue their appeal for peace. Parliament Square, London, 20th July 2010
