John Halas

John Halas OBE,(1912–1995), animation film producer at his office in the Halas and Batchelor, Studio at Kean Street, the company he co-founded with his wife Joy Batchelor. John Halas produced “Animal Farm” in 1954 the first British animated feature film released worldwide, based on the George Orwell book. “Animal Farm” the feature film was allegedly commissioned covertly by the CIA.
