Walter Wolfgang

Walter Wolfgang (1923 - 2019), (CND) jointing the London Guantánamo Campaign demonstration outside the US Embassy marking the Seventh Anniversary of the Opening of the Guantanamo Bay illegal prison camp; to make a speech calling on the US administration to close down Guantánamo prison camp. Walter Wolfgang is Vice President and Vice Chair of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and a supporter of the Stop the War Coalition. Wolfgang became a popular British hero when cameras recorded him being forcibly ejected from the annual Labour Party Conference in Brighton 28th September 2005 for shouting "nonsense" during the Jack Straw speech promoting the Iraq War.
