Victor Spinetti

Victor Spinetti (1929 – 2012) Welsh, Shakespearian actor with a stature of Shakespeare in the back ground. Spinetti is larking around in Leicester Square, near where his stage career all started. At the insistence of the Beatles, Spinetti appeared in every film they made. He collaborated with John Lennon adapting and directing his books as, The John Lennon Play: In His Own Write. Spinetti won his 1964 Tony award for his role in the Joan Littlewood stage production "Oh What a Lovely War!". In Spinetti's stage career and in over forty film roles, he has performed with leading actors including Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Peter Sellers and many more. Spinetti recently played Albert Einstein in the stage play, “Albert's boy”, by James Graham. Victor Spinetti’s one-man show, “A Very Private Diary”, has played all over the world.
